Theory: Dual use firearm. High potential blue laser with
variable optometric settings for ideal throughput in combat situations.
This unit is paired with a secondary fire system for added support in a
hostile environment, fusing G-Ray ambiance into a realm shattering beam
of digital photo imaging tuned ultra-hot plasma. Ideal unit will have advanced
fire controls, operator identification system, Primary and secondary fire
selectors, and low power audible alarm. Customized units have included
variable secondary fire imaging, telescopic sighting, stabilization units,
and browser inclusion features.
Test units: The prototype KFG-1000 series was based on
the existing frame of a (barrel) damaged S.A. Assault rifle, model XR-2248.
Typical of this units production, it required minor retooling of the rear
and forward d-bolt assemblies, which the previous owner failed to perform,
resulting in a chamber misfire and resultant barrel breach. No other damage
was apparent on initial inspection. After barrel removal, this unit was
fitted with, barrel end, a refurbished Sony Industries “HandyCam”, polished
lensing, 2.374 meters of prepared videotape, and the requisite power connections
(based on a g-ray battery link connection). Primary power was based at
an estimated use of .24 giga-rays, but in test firing was fine tuned
to within spec’s at .197 giga-g’s (primary fire only). Secondary fire operated
within tolerances, but as expected, energy drain was nearly 10 times that
of the primary fire. As this fit the design specifications, a final test
was performed on a live fire range in northern Nevada with a 98.772% accuracy
rate. The unit was put into service and has performed admirably in all
field tests after spirit indenture. Since production, a second unit has
been brought online with identical test results.
Core Data: Size 2 assault rifle.
Primary fire: Flash Gordon 6D8, ROF 1, range inc. 10,
0-10 AP selector switch, some miniaturization requirements. Drain: 2 at
base level, +25% per AP level required.
Secondary Fire: Spirit Weapon 8D8, ROF 1, range inc.
10, some miniaturization requirements, Drain: 12 per shot
Power: 12x10 linked pureflo s-batteries with tensile
cabling. Browser interconnect.
Features: Iron night sights, durable telescoping stock,
twin selectors for primary/secondary fire and AP selection, Owner identification
system, sling, built-in compass in stock.
Use:
Primary fire: High Damage Blue Fusion Laser with variable AP
penetration.
Secondary Fire: A 3-D image of Jackie Chan materializes near
target, performs a stylistic combat attack, and then disappears. Spirit
damage, armor does not apply.
Future upgrades: A KFG-1002 “Steven Segal” version has
been requested, but the designer feels that the weapon may fail to retain
its long term durability and may make the user “run like a girl”.
