If they haven't read the books and want to go there, that's one thing.
If they've read them and want to cross the Mississippi for *ANY* reason,
they're more of a masoschistic player than even I.

Drop subtle hints. Like, "Remember 'Day of the Dead' when the doctor
said the dead outnumbered the living by 400,000 to 1? That about sums up
the state of affairs across the Mississippi."
