[HoE] Which Witch is Which?
Hey Folks -
Got a player that wants to play a witch and I've got some questions.
Number One: Does a witch start with all the spells in How to Serve
Your Man if they have the book? I'm assuming so, but couldn't find
anything specifically stating it (although, through implication, Scott
Hetrick might have already answered it in his quoted statement below).
Just looking for clarification.
Number Two: In the HoE Library, under Scott Hetrick's new witches
spells, he states:
> The witch can only start out with one book (including How to Serve Your Man) during character creation, and she knows all
> the spells in that book without spending more bounty points.
>
Does "including" in this case mean that a witch can choose one of the
new books "in addition" to How to Serve Your Man, or "instead of"? If
it is the former, I'd assume an additional two (or so) points in
Belongings would be in order, but I'm thinking its the latter ("can only
start with one book"). If it is the latter, would any of you Marshals
out there consider allowing a player to take multiple belongings to
start with multiple books? Again, just looking for some clarification
and some marshal thoughts on this one.
Number Three: Has anyone written up/considered writing up some sort
of trade value for spell components (particularly for some of the rare
ones)? Any thoughts on this?
Scott, if you're reading this, consider this a belated "nice job" on the
spells! They really helped to round out the archetype! Well done!
