You're right - I was, in fact, referring to Jackie, but I also can't
remember her proper name.

I really liked the first two parts of the HOD trilogy (although I have not
ran my posse through it yet, admittedly) but I'm not a huge fan of the third
part.

It's got aliens running around in it, and super powerful high tech (Dr.
Gash's enhancements times a factor of ten) and the heart of darkness jewel
is really the core of an interstellar spaceship's engine and so on. Not bad,
but not as good as the first two parts, which were more DLish for me.
