[HoE] New PEG Lists?
I was thinking about PEG's schedule for next year- which I do a lot
(drool...)- and was thinking about the listservs.
Specifically, I was thinking that at some point, we're going to need to
split the list again, much like we did when HoE came out. Arguments either
way notwithstanding, we decided to create a separate HoE list.
Way I figure it, we're gonna have to consider doing this again, for the
following product lines:
Fields of Honor: Definitely a new game, and definitely *not* Deadlands.
Probably deserves a separate list, regardless of whether the game generates
a lot of OT traffic here.
High Noon: The new "miniatures" rules. While we decided some time ago that
GRW and Grimme Crusade were (or would be) on topic for the Weird West
listserv, we may need to reconsider for High Noon. Since High Noon covers
all three settings, traffic will likely be dispersed over the three
servers. Not a bad thing. However, those who play the game using only one
setting (such as Weird West) may miss out on a ruling if it is posted on a
different listserv (such as Hell on Earth). Therefore, it probably also
requires a separate list.
The Last Crusade. It's a CCG. CCG lists generate a bundle of traffic.
Also, see argument for Fields of Honor.
Lost Colony RPG: Should be treated the same as the HoE and WW lists. That
is to say, separate.
Lost Colony CCG: See Last Crusade arguments (minus the Fields of Honor
reference, of course).
Finally, the long-awaited "Black Book" which unifies the DL settings: On
the basis of the High Noon argument, I'd say give it its own list.
However, we do not know as yet if it will receive its own supplements, as
if it were a fourth setting. Probably should let this one be until we have
more information.

P.S. Almost forgot about the HoE-OT list, the FoH-OT list, the HN-OT list,
the TLC-OT list, the LCCCG-OT list, and the LCRPG-OT list.
Oh yeah, and the "BB"-OT list, too. ;)
