Except the Pact power isn't in _The Book of the Dead_. At least, not that I
can find. Now, there's a Black Magic power in the Weird West called Pact, but
it doesn't seem to work exactly like the short blurb says, and Pact is
clearly
labeled as a "Harrowed Power" twice in that section. What's up with that? I'm
especially curious as I don't own the Wierd West book with Black Magic in it,
and being able to talk to abominations would be useful for a Cyborg villian
I'm working on for one of my games. >>
Pact is a Harrowed power I made up for this specific character, and doesn' t
appear anywhere else. It's based loosely on the Black Magic power of the same
name. It's meant as an NPC-only type thing, and basically serves a rationale
for allowing an evil Harrowed character to have some abomination underlings.
