As long as we're speaking along these lines, I had little problem with the map in
Wasted West. I should preface these remarks by stating that HoE is the first PEG
product that I've picked up. I've enjoyed it so far, and if my group is
agreeable, may pick up Weird West at a future time, but that's then and this is
now.

What got to me was the fact that a number of the items that are supposed to be
referenced in the Marshall's section come out to "See Lost Colony for details."
Left me with a "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine" feeling.

I'd like to have seen a little detail on some of the other areas as well. The
adventure that I'm writing now takes place in Wyoming, and the only thing we have
information on there is Devil's Tower. (Which, although there is a bit of a recap
of events, basically refers me to another book for a game that I don't even have.
Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.)

As I said, I am new to the game and it seems that I'm looking at a good,
well-supported and thought-out product put out by a company that cares enough
about it's customers to listen to them in a format like this. There is fear,
though. Fear of seeing that company head down that slippery slope that T$R and
Wh$te Wo$f have descended, where the Bottom Line takes precedent over putting out
a good or original product. And if, in the process of trying to pull you away, I
should end up tearing your sleeve, all I can do is say Sorry and that I merely
feared for your safety.
