Not if your templer wears a helmet... it might not look heroic, but it is
rather practical.

Not to mention the rest of teh equipment a PC usually carries... I think Ral
Partha once did a "complete adventurer" mini who was kited out in full
plate, a massive backpack, sword, bow, daggers, etc... just like a real PC!

How is Warzone? I've had a brief look at the rules and it didn't look too
bad.  I used to play WH40K, but gave up because of a few problems with the
rules (not an issue playing with the right people) and a lot of problems
with players... most of whom have forgotten the whole "have fun" concept
behind gaming and just go for stupid rules-exploiting armies.  Oh yeah, it
was getting real expensive too.  :)
