You need tougher NPCs. I only had one situation like
this: a player of mine accidentally kept looking at my
hit point counter for "Jack" [size 6 x 5 wounds = 30
HPs, rather than dealing with everything], a bad guy
in the last game we played. "Jack" eventually reached
0, and kept going. At -70, he was knocked unconcious
(or was he?) by the player who kept telling Lo's
player to *not* look at my binder during the game!
