Huh. Actually, I roll best on d8s and d10s, lousy on d6s and d12s. I
think it has to do with the chance of rolling aces -- you've got a
decent chance on d8s, and an ace on a d8 is pretty effective, while it's
less effective on a d6, and just hard to roll on d12s unless you have a
lot of them.

But that's just me ... (:
