1. For Arcane Abilities, you still have a few of all the old abilities 
(hucksters, blessed, etc.). The Sykers would be just beggining. I figure the 
hippies would have some sort of arcane abilities (albiet non-violent). Maybe 
something involving computers, because technology is always ahead a while. I 
was also thinking about an abilty revolving around Psychology, as the works 
of Jung and Freud were getting more and more accepted.
2. There were some cults (Manson), perhaps the John Birch Society might have 
something behind it, as well as the Black Panthers. God alone knows what kind 
of crazy stuff is going down in the CIA (and the Confederate equivalent).
