[HoE] Cyborg Q
Okay, so I only recently realized the folly of not being on this
listserve so I've missed just about everything.
Now to the specific question:
I was just trying to make a munchkiny cyborg when I became stumped
and confused. Near as I can tell the format of the cyborg creation sheet
has actually very little relation to the process.
P. 83
You get so many mounts naturally and so many if you replace the
limb with a cyber-x. Head 4/6, Torso 7/9, Limbs 6/8. Now, the sheet has
the following format: RIGHT ARM | INTERNAL 1 2 3 4 5 6 | 7 8 |
EXTERNAL 1-2 3-4.
So I would hypothesize that 1-6 represent the natural base, 7/8 represent
the added slots if your arm is cyber and 1-2/3-4 rep items mounted
externally through hard points.
BUT if that were so, Head would be like this: HEAD | INTERNAL 1 2 3 4 |
5 6 | EXTERNAL 7. And Torso would be like this: TORSO | INTERNAL 1 2 3
4 5 6 7 | 8 9 | 1 2 3 4.
On a side note, this brings up another point. Two actually. One:
What is the meaning of 1-2? Two: Can you purchase multiple hard point
systems per limb? And if so, what's the limit?
Next, I want some armor. Now, Heavy Battle takes up 'all heavy'.
Does that mean it takes up all four heavy mounts on the torso? Does it
mean that you're required to buy a heavy mount for all four limbs, the
head, and the torso? Or does it mean that any heavy mounts you may have
it fills. Okay, then it has it's own hard-point system. Does that,
itself, have one mount in the head, two in each limb, and four in the
torso?
Finally, on a less question oriented note, I will note that first
that the discrepancy between the size of some items each of which take up
one mount is disturbing and also that this is a gret gret book.
