I don't think the comment was so much about the player's age - but the
character's age.

It seems that every kid character tries to be either some sort of childhood
wish fulfillment fantasy, or based on those nauseating kids in action
movies that are invulnerable due to their innate nauseating cuteness ala
Anakin Hivewalker.
