[HoE] Re-Starting Characters

Again, this is tossed out for general discussion, not because I feel there's
a "right" or "wrong" way, but just to see how others handle it, and look for
suggestions because I'm drawing somewhat of a blank.

How do folks deal with injecting "new" characters into an experienced bunch
of characters?

Do you just start them as normally-constructed characters and let them play
"catch up"?

[You can let them take Veteran of the Wasted West, but assuming most of your
part has taken that anyway, the newbie is still going to be more
"inexperienced".]

Do you give them more Bounty Points? And if so, how do you determine how
many? Based on amount of real-life time that has gone by? Calculate all the
points spent by experienced characters?

Or just more starting points? Again how, do you determine how many?

Or something else?

Just curious. I really don't like the idea of putting a totally new,
starting-built character into a group of hardened vets who have been around
for a while. But not sure what the alternative is.
