[HoE] Deadwood to New York - travel times

More of a geographical question this one - 
I'm planning on having a character somehow teleported to the world shortly
before the bombs drop. As she'll obviously be on a TIGHT deadline *grin*, she'll
probably be holding nothing back.

The question was: If she can get her hands on a motor or hoverbike and rides
hard for at least 12 hours a day, how long do you think it would take her to get
from Deadwood to New York in PRE-apocalyptic 2081? I'd base it on real-world
figures, but as I live in Australia, I have no idea how long it would take
nowdays.

If anyone can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.
