I'd say spook juice in a cup would go up automatically... the fumes from petrol
make it very
easy to light without trying too hard, and I think spook juice is at least as
volatile.

Remember that the heat has to warm up the metal container up quite a bit to set
off the explosive. The metal can only absorb heat so fast. A sudden near-
instantaneous blast does not have the time to transfer much heat, and most of
that would radiate back out.
Also remember that the explosive is only being heated, not burnt.
So I'd say not really any chance of grenades going off unless the psyker gets a
really exceptional roll.
You can test this using a butane gas refill cylinder and a cigarette lighter if
you don't value your body hair... (or life, if you acually try it with real
grenades :)
