Vitamin Junkies (the TWERPS "Mad Max" rules supplement)! Well, O.K..
Perhaps that's simplifying a bit too much (for all that it isn't, I
still love TWERPS' wahoo sense of fun though). Seriously - while I
haven't used the Car Wars rules in HoE, I have used the vehicle counters
and maps from my old Car Wars and Sunday Drivers little plastic
microgame sets, and used a couple vehicle mod ideas from old autoduel
quarterlies. You know, that gets me thinking of a wacky idea for a Road
Warrior-style adventure for HoE that we played out back in my elementary
school days playing Car Wars. Anyone remember that Roger Corman move
Deathrace 2000 with David Carradine and Sly Stallone?
