I must replay here. You have alot of valed points. But I like the book and I
use it. I think it is very fun. It has been my experance that junkers do
invent most stuff in out of game time. Look at the constuction time table in
JC the lowest construction time is 2d20 min. So even if he wanted to build
something in a pinch he would be out of game for an average of 24 combat
rounds. If you want your junker to build something for a fight give him a
night or half a day before the fight of in game time. Then call a break in
real time work out the rough numbers with your junker and 10 of 15 min.
later start the game back up no big deal. Also one last tip get a scientific
calculater it helps a whole bunch. Now I like a simple system as much as the
next guy and I think the system should be simplifed a little but I can make
those changes as needed.
