Which I've never really disputed as a rationale (although it's not the only
one). But...it's exactly that pumping of the juice that a Vet Huckster
_should_ be able to tap into to gain...well, more juice.

I've always been willing to accept that "more power=more backlash chance".
But the logical corollary there is "more power=more power."

I should have been a bit more specific. They seek out the most powerful
manitou available that they need. Since "levels" (or should that be
"hands"?) of effect haven't changed, and the maximum caps haven't changed,
what the Hucksters seek out hasn't changed.

Since Mr. Hopler noted that he is reconsidering the way they work now, and
tossed an alternate proposal out, I consider the matter somewhat up in the
air. Didn't he ask us what we think? As I've noted before, changing the
rules for a personal campaign is always an option. Now that that's been
noted several times by all involved, it probably doesn't have to be noted
any more in future. Which brings us right back to discussing what John
suggested we discuss.
