[HoE] Faraway/Temporal Physics~spoiler

I just hope that your theories are wrong and that the whole Stone thing was the
only time Pinnacle will mess with Temporal Physics cause once a RPG starts
messing with it it can only go downhill.

Actually, I could find no problems with the method of time travel described in
Fortress o' Fear (the method that Stone used). Basically, it was damned
difficult for both Stone and the Reckoners to do, but it was possible. The Path
of Stone is a certain number of years "long." If you walk into it on July 3rd,
2094, you will come out on July 3rd, 1877. If you go on a return trip on the
23rd, you'll come out on the 23rd in 2094. This way, you can't pull any of this
Marty McFly crap, goin' back five minutes to save Doc Brown. You can go back
200 years exactly, or not at all.
(for the purposes of the rest of this message, I'm goign to ignore the "manitous
gave MS's insights from the future" copout idea)
Also remember that the Reckoners created the Path of Stone with the last of
their energy when the humans were about to wipe them out. It took so much
energy because they had to rip the hole in reality themselves. In that
timeline, Doc Hellstromme probably didn't invent the Tunnel at all. Now, when
Stone "cleans up" for the Horsemen, they have much more power in the "new" 2041
(?). They don't want to rip the universe a new one (sorry, couldn't help it),
so they help their bud the Doc do it for them. It's much easier to do it this
way because they've got science working for them this time.
By this theory, the Reckoners could affect things on Banshee simply by doing
things on Earth. If they create a bunch of Ghost Rock in a chunk of tectonic
plate that won't be exposed for 2,000 years, then that rock will be all ready
for mining on Banshee.

Also, let me point out that there are a LOT of holes in my theory here.
Basically I was only conjecturing from the evidence I have (and I HAD to mention
the lizard men somewhere), and there's a lot of room in the framework I've set
up for Pinnacle to make their own stuff that might actually surprise me. This
is usually how I like to work when I give them all of their ideas ;)
