Anything has got to be better than that load of dingos kidneys, "The
Forbidden God". The author didn't even have a grasp of the Deadlands rules,
much less a workable adventure.

Bleah. On page 50, under one of the possible possessions the victim loses a
die step in Coordination and Speed. These two "traits" don't even exist.
The premise of the adventure is ok, and there are some salvagable bits, but I
could never run this adventure as-is. The wreck is full of pointless
creatures who only exist to go into combat with the PCs. This isn't a big
criticism, though, since this is Deadlands... thats what zombies are for
after all. The possession I can deal with... possessing party members is
ALWAYS lots of fun. The underground war with the zombies is a little
stupid... after 300 years of constant battle you'd wonder how there'd be
anything left of the zombies at all.
The real stinker is the lame ending, or lack thereof. The PCs get to drag
around an indestructable evil relic and have no possible way to get rid of
it. Whats the point of that? That, at least, can easily be changed, but
there should be more of a puzzle for the PCs to figure out, or some way to
figure out the one surefire way to destroy the statue. I realize I only paid
$6 for this, but I'm definately feeling like I wasted every penny.
