Right I was thinking this morning and it occured to me that not 
everything about the reckoning might be upto chance!!!

Ok the wasted west says (I think, it's been a while since I read it!) 
that the reckoners were 'corrupted' by the devil, who persuaded them to 
serve his needs and start thier own reckoning!

what I believe is that God (in his 'supreme' wisdom) knew this would 
happen (and in fact designed it to happen!) knowing that in humanity's 
worst hour, they would cause 'their' reckoning! this would cause a lot 
of Death (not caused by God as it was out of control!), and the rest to 
become faithful! 1) to help battle the reckoners and 2) because if the 4 
horsemen exist then so must God! hench armaggedon happens and all blame 
is put on the reckoners and the devil, not God!

this theory also explains 2 things: 1) why evil can cheat (God wants it 
to happen, so 'overlooks' those 'minor' things!) and good can't (that 
would prove too easy, and force the wrong outcome!) and 2) why (can't 
remember whether it was famine or pestilence) horse was 'killed'!

anyway just a little thoery for you guys to ponder upon
