I tend to agree about Simon, but given that oathbreaker Templars keep their powers, Simon's blessing, if
it's actually something more than just some words, should still have some effect, regardless of how many
ferrets he lubes up...

Again, this sounds like the best way to go about things, otherwise MIRV will just get taken *instead* of
Atomic Blast rather than as well as - don't want the players thinking "Hey, if I just take MIRV and drop
Atomic Blast, then I have room for Microwave..."

In game would be the way to go - that way, if he screws up, he gets a big ol' smackdown...I'm also
playing in a Deadlands game at the moment, and one of the other characters is a Wolf Shaman with the
hindrances Bloodthirsty and Vengeful...in the HoE game I run, I've pretty much disallowed those two
hindrances as well as Grim Servant o'Death (unless the player has a good background explanation and puts
his own limits on it, like "no children") because they get abused so much and tend to make it harder for
the rest of the posse to progress in the campaign. Either they're constantly explaining their
compatriot's actions, or being blamed for their compatriot's actions, or sometimes those actions just
make it darn tricky to get valuable information.
It's usually pretty tricky to get information from a dismembered corpse...
Thanks for your reply.
Nick.
