[HoE] Referential In-Jokes

I have to be honest, I'm _way_ guilty of this sort of thing. Most of my work is
sprinkled with obscure references, some are ones I want you guys to find (like the
Varney's Flats and a few in RoB) to some relevant to old gaming buddies or
friends. So far, I hope I've not gotten out of hand with them -- and I'd like to
think someone on the list would hesitate to say "Goff, you've gone a bit too far"
if I ever did.

Fortunately, it seems most of mine may be a bit too obscure or just didn't carry
over as well as I'd hoped, since I've not heard that yet (although the Seinfeld
reference in H&HW did catch somebody's eye a while ago).

However, if you ever see something and wonder "Did he do that on purpose?" feel
free to ask -- if I remember I'll be happy to fill you in on it. Otherwise, you're
probably safe in assuming I did. ;-)
