This is my gripe too.  Granted, v12's and such aren't common, but neither are ring-mounted
autocannons.  As long as we're talking about souping up your car, we sould consider dropping one of
these babies under the hood.
Of course, I could go into the Audi v5 engine, inline 4 cylinders, or even the dreaded v16 (a diesel
train engine).  Last story I heard involving that last bad boy was when the local fire department
tried putting one in a fire truck.  Something about a "frame that looked like a corkscrew" sticks
out in my mind...hmmm...
