[HoE] New in '99

Hey gang,
Some of you may or may not have noticed that PEG added a new products
list to their website, located here;

Greatly overjoyed to see the copious amounts of new HoE books on the big
list, here are my
way-too-far-in-advance-so-why-the-heck-am-I-even-sharing-them-because-anything-would-be-purely-speculative
thoughts on the lot of 'em.

Monsters Muties & Misfits. Hmmmm, a RV&C for HoE? Looks and sounds like
it. Would be cool too, I must admit, RV&C had so many good ideas in it,
this one could fit the same shoe for HoE. But wait? What's this I
recall? Didn't Shane say there were no plans for a RV&C for HoE? Was he
lying? Did the plan come about after he opened his yap? Are the Reconers
working hard to keep him on clampdown, but let one slip? Forsooth!
Methinks this is no ordinary talking Shane!

Killer Clowns (Dime Novel). Shane?.......Shane? What the? Huh? No
really, what's the deal with this? I'm sure you have plans for this
sucka that go beyond the first impression of the namesake, but come on?
What's with the name? Are they from space?

Cyborgs. Woo-hoo! Nuff' said on this bad boy still gestating in the mind
of some deranged PEG writer.

Iron Oasis (boxed set). Maybe I missed the refence in annother HoE book,
but what are is this gonna cover? Anyone? Someone?

Spirit Warriors. I can only assume that this is the new HoE indian
shaman sourcebook, though I thought it was going to be Toxic Shamans.
But something in me strives to recall something about a Toxic Shamans
book for Shadowrun, thus causing a little copywrite infringment. This
sound firmilar to anyone? I'd love to see all new indian groups that
have found a way to access the power of the hunting grounds, despite the
door ripped wide open in the last war, maybe something with a little
rad-power sprinkled on top. But please, no Ghost Dancers meets Childern
O' The Atom.

Shatterd Coast. Well, there's really no doubt that this is gonna cover
the maze, but question is what's the focus? tGM was Lost Angels and Shan
Fan, but what about this? Please, for the love of god, don't let it
focus on Movie Town. Anything but that! More killer clowns, but for
god's sake, no Movie Town.

Thunder Train (dime novel). hmmm, HoEs Night Train? Maybe that ol'
engine got bumped back on the tracks after 200 years, and the eternal
thirst returns. Hmmm, maybe not.



It's gonna be an interesting year there kids. An awful lotta meat on
that list. One thing is definitely short, though. Lost Vegas. It was
mentioned in CotA, so I was hoping it would be in the works already, but
it apears to be in the wings for Y2K. Drat, I was so looking forward to
that one. Mostly on acount of the CotA stuff being so fresh in my mind,
but ohh well. I can wait, 'specialy with all that other stuff to tide me
over.
