Personally I think this is a sweet concept.  I can see major potentail for it if
you create a good concept with a big background for him(or her)  I could see a
hand to hand specialist with powers that complement that.   I envision some sort
of super spy or Rambo. You know a guy you can just send in by himself and expect
him to get the job done.  I say run with your concept.
