Re: [HoE] Good HOE Music WAS: Toxic Tunes?

It's interesting to hear from a lot of you what music you use during your HOE
sessions. I use alot of Skinny Puppy, especially the ancient, "battered plains
of the dead" inspiring visions I get off the Brap double disc, or their Last
Rights album.

I also recommend the soundtrack to the movie Pi. A cadre of delicious tracks
from orbital, banco de gaia, aphex twin, and clint mansell. Good "raw" spooky
stuff, inject these primordial beats into your descriptions of ground zero areas
or areas that are pure deadlands. Good stuff indeed.

And on a completely opposite note. For those gritty, dramatic, gun fighters who
stroll all sultry like across crumbled highways or survivor town main streets:
Patsy Cline! As hideous as it sounds, it strangely makes quite the morbid mood.
heh.

And a final gem. For the times when the soulless machines of Throckmorton
unleash round upon round of unyielding steal on your posse throw in a Fear
Factory disc. Especially the track, Smasher/Devourer. Despite its blunt title,
the song and the whole album is quite helpful in visualization of HOE world.

If any of you use these ideas, please, if not the list, report back to me and
tell me how it went. Hope I could help point a few in some good directions.
Thanks.
