I would argue that the individual could have mutated and then, due to a later
mutation, "healed" but that is just me. In order to be fair about it, I suspect
the Marshal and player should sit down and discuss the draw. If the initial
mutation (5H in the above example) is an important part of the character identity
and something the player likes, he should be allowed to draw again. Likewise, if
the Marshal has something interesting in mind (but not gratuitous) for the
situation, he should have a say in the situation. Finally, the two could try to
find a way to interestingly combine the two (Eats twice as much and is Scrawny but
slows his aging because his digestive system has become very inefficient at
extracting necessary nutrients -- lactose intolerance, a continuous case of the
"Tennessee Two Step," etc. -- and, as a result, his metabolism has slowed.).
Before you discard any draw, consider all the options. Something interesting for
the character might result from what, at first, looks like irreconcilable
information.
