[HoE] What happen to the Editing!![Shane]

So, I finally sat down and started reading over the Wasted West book last
night. 

I had barely gotten into it when I noticed a mistake and now I am trying to
figure it out.

On page 56 there is a list of who was a part of the Northern Alliance and
who was part of the Southern Alliance.
It lists France as part of the North (which I had expected to side with the
confederates) and Russia with the South.

However on page 58 it states: "... Germans staged a massive counterattack
through Belgium and deep into the heart of France. Russia came to the
Frenchies' aid and all Europe erupted in Flame."

So why is a Southern Alliance Country helping a Northern Alliance country.
Was France listed in correctly in the Alliances chart? 

Just trying to figure out who is on which side....
