  Ahh, but the scriptures predicted it- hence evidence that more in those
books are true than false.  Why were we left on this earth to face these
horrors?  Because most of us did not prove our faith beforehand, and the few
that did prove faith were left behind to lead those that had not.  How do we
save ourselves now?  We need to show god that we are ready to "suffer unto
truth" (If you can name where thats from I'll send you a cookie) and withstand
the slings and arrows of hellfire to touch the light of god.  We take pain now
because we do not care for our limited bodies, but for our unlimited souls.

      Religion can be a powerful thing when used by a persuasive and educated
man.
