Enh... this doesn't feel right for HoE, to me.  It seems to me that
servitors, abominations, etc. in HoE are more overt.  To wit: The baddie in
"Leftovers" the hundreds of thousands of Walkin' Dead across the
Mississippi, the fact that the reckoners ride the earth, et al.

While there is merit to the idea, it seems more appropriate to the Weird
West than the Wasted West.
