I sympathize with you, I have a similar problem in my local area. But if
you've ever worked in a game store, its not that simple. Whenever someone
asks you to stock a particular product that you don't have on the shelf, 9
times out of 10 when you order it, it stays on that shelf and nobody buys it,
even the poor schmuck who asked for it in the first place. In the RPG
industry, if you put a product on the shelf and it doesn't sell in the first
few weeks, chances are it will NEVER EVER sell. So game stores are extremely
wary of "You need to get <x-product>" requests because they almost always get
burned.
Your best bet is to find out who does the ordering at your local store and
talk to them whenever possible. Find out when the orders are placed, and when
the distributors send out pre-order catalogs. Go through the pre-order
catalog with whoever does the ordering, and help them mark down which items
you will buy. If you're lucky, they'll eventually learn what you're after,
order at least one of every book for you and keep it behind the counter until
you come by to pick it up.
If that doesn't work, collect all the receipts of Deadlands products you've
bought at other locations. When you've got about $100 or so worth of
receipts, plop them down in front of the manager and say "That could have been
money in your pocket if you'd listen to what I want."
