Working in one hour photolab, I know that batteries will lose power over
time. There is a best before date printed on most batteries (or their
packages) that I've noticed. The ones we have in stock right now are best
before... (goes and checks) ... the year 2002, so about 4-5 years,
depending on when they were first made. Lithium batteries may last longer
(I've heard of some that went for 15-20 years with minimal usage).
