Not a chance in Hell.  The best kept secret in the US is the flavoring used for soda.  Two people in
the world know the formula for Coke, and the written list is kept in a safe that they have the key
for.  They never travel in the same plane.  I think only one person knows the formula for Pepsi, but
it's a documented fact that it was taken from the Coke people way back when (actually, this'd be a
good Deadlands story).  It's impossible to patent a flavor in the US.  Dr. Pepper is pretty nuts,
actually: like I said earlier, it's easier to say what's /not/ in it.  People who do analysis on
things like this have a list of about a thousand possible ingredients.
Check out the book "Big Secrets" for as much information as there is on the subject, as well as some
other good stuff, like the hidden stuff on money and similar stuff...
