right, the law firm. Stop laughing.
Look, I know no one much cares for lawyers any more, but you still need
us. What kind of law are you gonna live by without us? The law dogs ride
around and hang anyone that looks at 'em cross-eyed, and everyone else?
They hang you anyways. Why do you think so many people are dying out here?
Death? Famine? War? C'mon, you can't really expect me to believe all that
stuff about Revelations! We've got enough trouble with people killing
people; we don't need to go making up fancy ghost stories. Me, I've got
this pistol, just in case some of those people come looking for me. I
don't know if I'll be able or willing to use it if I have to, but it sure
is comforting to have around.
