The batteries on the Gear chart aren't Spirit batteries, just the normal electrical kind.  Spirit
Batteries come in any size, and are built like most Junker devices.  The size of the battery affects
the number of charges it can hold.  So it would be plausible to cut down on the weight issue by only
having a small battery on your chainsword, since you're not likely to be using it for hours at a
time,

Also, remember the backpack principle; don't have the device be one big solid chunk.  Put the
battery one place on your body, then have the business end of the weapon (or whatever) somewhere
else.
