RE: [HoE] Junkers Gear and a minor rant[Shane]
To start off, I agree with a lot of Erik's post about HoE. It was a smart
move to have the rules in one book & the majority of the background in
another, but the main books lack too much background. My group is itching
to play, but I don't want to start anything & find out I was wrong about
important background info, forcing me to retrofit what I've start to match
what has come out.

YES! I have no idea where to start, what cities are complete NoGoes, etc.

Right! That's the original reason why I bought Deadlands - the weird stuff
is a plus, we all jsut wanted to play cowboys : ) The game plays itself
sometimes because we all know what a saloon looks like, how western folk
speak, etc.
Maybe a way to solve the lack of stuff in the main HoE book is to post some
stuff on the webpage (map, adventures, critters) especially if the Wasted
West book is held up for any reasons.
Just my too sense....
all the above statements are mine & mine alone & do not reflect the
opinions of my employer or anyone else but ME....
