	I think that the supernatual events of Deadlands are several orders
of magnitude greater than real life.  RPGs require a suspension of
disbelief, obviously, but the HOE timeline would have to be drastically
different from our own to get me to accept the continued ignorance of the
public to 200 years of vast numbers of people getting ripped to shreds,
disappearing, etc.  In order for me to believe this, I would expect the HOE
timeline governments to vastly restrict freedom of speech and movement,
technological advances in photography and surveillance to be retarded, and
urban expansion to be limited.
