Is everybody waiting for something to happen in the current game, or do we have vacationers playing?

How can the hand change? By dealing out more cards? I can do that. Make the game depend on three initial rounds. First round, everybody gets one rule and a third of their cards. Everybody must
make at least one offer (alternatively, everybody must be involved in one trade) or execute a "pass" command.
Then, another rule and another third of the cards are dealt out. Same deal again.
Finally, the remainder of the cards and the last rules are dealt out and it's a free-for-all.
(Alternatively, there is a command switch "-turns=x" where "x" is the number of rounds before free-for-all.)
Combine that with autoscoring each move so you see your score and your rank on the game board.
How's that?
