Many Congrads. As stated, buy him/her lots of dice and books and shit, and then send 'em home for mom and dad to deal with. That and the familiar orange book for the first birthday. Green is just too much for a 1 year old, and purple is just plain weird.
On the topic of gamer parenting and grandparenting, at least we have proven that gamers can marry, and even breed.

Thats right fellers I'm a new grandpa and my new email addy is cloud 9. I thought being a new parent was exciting, but it don't have nothing on your first grandchild. Well I've taken up enough space on non related items, I just wanted to spread the good news to all of yall.
In a few years grandpa will buy him his first set of dice and we'll roll up a mini barbarian for the little feller.
