I think your old way indian would be like a laid back religious witness 
trying to convert the MS.  If you are telling me how happy your beliefs make 
you, then you should darn well act happy.  If your beliefs seem to make you 
miserable, why would anyone else want to have them?  If they seem to make 
you happy and more productive, then someone will probably ask you.  The 
indian would probably be a little reserved, but not rude to the MS.  IMHO he 
would stay away from the science it's self but hope to turn the scientist.  
kind of like "love the sinner, but hate the sin" so to speak.  He doesn't 
have to be openly rude to the MS, but it would depend on the interdynamics 
of the gamers and how each sees his character acting and going from there.  
I was in a party where I played a Hong Kong Triad who had intolerence to 
British.  One of the other players created an English character.  As the 
gamer was a good friend, we came up with an "excuse" that my character 
thought the English character was American, but educated in England.  Is it 
real logical?  No, but I've always tried to get my groups to get along.  
Talk to your gamers and see what they think.  And go from there.  Just 
remember, everybody is there to have fun.  Marshalls just have to work to 
have the fun.  :)
