How bout this, with the two guns he's got left, every one he shoot dead, 
rises up as a walking dead a little bit later. So posse comes back into 
town after a mission to find the entire saloon shot dead and lying around 
with "I am back" written in blood on the saloon mirror. Then all the dead 
start getting up whispering "he is back, he is angry, he has returned, he 
will find you."

If they sold off his other 8 guns, you can allow him to possess one of 
the current owners each time he get killed off, forceing the posse to 
chase down each guns, occasionally showing up after he's already visited, 
made a welcoming party and sent the gun off in the mail to somebody in 
canada where the posse can never find it.
