[DL] Defensive Weapons

Hi Guys,

A few quick questions about defensive
weapons - consider a guys with skill
4 in Fighting:knives

1) He has a gun in his right hand and
a knife in his left. Does he get a 
defensive bonus from his knife?? Will
it be +5 (+1 for knife +4 for skll), or
will it be +1 (+1 for knife +4 for skill
and -4 for off-hand). Or no bonus at 
all??
2 Consider the same guy, but he's a 
Huckster casting spells with his right
hand and defending with his left. Does
he get a benefit from the knife?
