[DL] Chip Idea



Here's something that I've used in my game for several years, and the
players really seem to like it, and so I've decided to share it with the
list.

The Green Chip.

It is usually up to the Marshall to award chips for good roleplaying,
but my players enjoy each other's roleplaying so much, that I've come up
with a way to allow them to share in this privilege. At the beginning of
each adventure, I give each of my players a green chip.  The purpose of
the green chip is for players to award other players for good
roleplaying.  A player can spend their green chip to give another player
a draw from the fate bag.  

I have a good group of players, they really appreciate being able to
award another player for good roleplaying.  So far, I haven't had
anybody try to munchkin this, but I have made a rule that if someone
spends their green chip on you during combat, that you don't get the
draw until after combat (to keep people from awarding green chips just
to keep other players alive.)
