I use centerpieces as long as they don't interfere with space. For a game of
Deadlands, I place a dragon skull (unfortunately I don't have a steer skull,
but the dragon skull is not only monstrous looking, it fits well on the
table) a cowboy hat, a replica Civil War revolver and an unlabeled bottle of
whiskey (colored water) with cork, in the center of our table. I also take
the time to print up Tombstone Epitaphs, telegrams and covers to dime
novels. And my favorite prop, I've listed below; when it stands in the
corner of our game room, my posse can't help but get into the right mood and
I like to think he helps me keep them in line. I just wish we had a set of
bat wing doors for an added effect.
