Using the Ravenloft system is probably the simplest conversion to Deadlands 
D20 (or maybe the D20 Call of Cthulhu system - I've never looked too deeply 
at it, so I don't know if it's as good).

One of the great advantages of D20 is that you can often find easily 
compatible rules in one game and just drag them on over to the other.

The fear rules in D20 leave a lot to be desired. To that effect, we've 
imported wholesale the Fear, Horror and Madness rules
from Ravenloft D20 (from Sword and Sorcery Studios / White Wolf). -P-A
