RE: [DL] names

I had a similar situation years ago with one of my (still) regular players.  
His character was an extremely irritable and abrasive individual with a 
tendency to "modify" peoples names and titles (referring to a Colonel and 
Commander and so forth).

Sometimes this aggravated situations to untold levels, like when he 
addressed Commander Fitzroy, the head of the military force the pcs had been 
"picked up" by, as Lietenant ****s-boy (lets just say it still rhymed with 
Fitzroy).  Military officers can be singularly humourless about that sort of 
thing.

That list kind of reminds me of a plyer I once had. His character had a new
name for everyone......a  little too often. Here are some examples

Flaming Jackrabbit
Drinking Fish
Phlem Hacker
Boiling Water
Stinkey Octopus

and other such nonsense. I personally thought Boiling Water was the
strangest.
