Look for the 'Big News' threads if you've got them, or read 
www.peginc.com for more info. Basically, Shane's signed a deal with 
another company to produce and handle Deadlands, leaving him time to 
work on other stuff. As such, a lot of stuff is on sale, and the 
Player's Guide is made available as a free pdf instead of a possibly 
financially unsund reprint.
