Re: [DL] Adventures

I'd really like to see some "back

I was actually reading a book I'd picked up cheap called Civil War
plots and schemes last summer and found a whole host of things that
could be used for adventures. I planned to write a couple of them up -
however my attention was kept elsewhere as my group had to finish the
present campaign arc before I introduced something new.
I thought that the cold war period in the Civil War at present would be
a great opportunity for those who disagree with their respective
governments regarding the peace, to further their own agendas and plan
atrocities to try to reflame the Civil War. Of course there would be
other mysterious forces in the shadows, twisiting these attrocities for
their own ends.
I'd imagine there would be a whole host of these warmongers appearing
with their own agendas (I envision something similar to the Harper
Ferry situation - but with a Deadlands slant) and the Texas
Rangers/Agency being hard pressed to keep tabs on everything - hence
they might need to hire in outside help on occasion.
Anyway my Deadlands campaign, that has been running since late '98,
early 99, should finally come to a close next Tuesday <many tears of
woe>, so I'll probably get a chance to revisit my thoughts and find
some time to write something up at some point.
Cheers
Roy
